The joint stock company STIM ZET is one of the significant European manufacturers of drilling tools. The high and constant quality of production results from more than 50 years tradition of the drills, reamers, countersinks and counterbores manufacturing in Zbrojovka Vsetín.

STIM ZET offers not only the assortment of standard tools, but also the special tools according to the customers requirements and engineering services for solving concrete technological problems in relation to drilling and hole machining as well.

STIM ZET a.s. realises the delivery of the whole standard tools assortment by means of the agent system. Over two thirds of our production are exported in more than 70 countries. STIM ZET, a.s. supplies special products and engineering services directly to final users.

Technology

The tools are designed on CAD workstation.

The tools are made of high-speed steel supplied by leading European producers. The most frequently used qualities of steel are M2, M35, M42.

Heat treatment of tools is performed in salt baths. The quality of heat treatment is inspected in laboratories.

Among the most important machinery with highest performance are:

  • band saws Kaltenbach
  • milling machines Gefra, Flutemaster, Safag, Wyssbrod
  • grinding machines Gühring, Gefra, Schütte
  • point grinding machines Normac, Avyac, Gühring
  • equipment for laser marking

  • consultancy on solving technological problems connected with hole cutting
  • tool designing based on specifications of worked material and on the requirements concerning the shape, dimensions and precision of the hole
  • participation of our technicians on tool testing on the customer’s premises
  • production and delivery of tool samples

  • comparison drilling tests
